Most beard problems start in the skin, not the hair: dryness, tightness, itch and irritation that no amount of trimming fixes.

A hot towel treatment works on that layer. Warm towels open the pores, oils go into the skin and the beard, and a short massage works them in. You leave with a softer beard and a calmer face.
